Solution
In researching the hotel, called "Astor Hotel", I was intrigued by the origin of the name.
It turns out that 'Astor' is 'star', and also the name of a god in Norse mythology.
From here I created an abstract shape of a star, a clean sign (a kind of ghost rose) which points to the central location of one of the famous squares (Syntagma), and I created a complete visual strategy around the name of the hotel.
I'm starting to build a story around this icon. "Astor" becomes a figure of a non-specific Greek statue, an "ancient" background of the map of Greece + the star that shows the location of the hotel.

Background
Since BROWN Hotels is a collection rather than a chain, each hotel is charachterized by its own, unique
brand identity. We were looking to create a corporate identity that will not collide with the autonomous identities and yet be distinctive, juicy and “BROWNIE”.

Solution
Brown Hotels don’t take themselves too seriously and strive
to provide a playful, easy going yet professional experiences. By using the graphic elements, we offer a glimpse into our colorful world. We used warm, soulful colors, that are classic and contemporary at the same time.
We used intriguing, stimulating and versatile visuals.
The photographic language is stylish, bold, sensual,
fun and fashion oriented.

About 50 km away from Athens center lies a real pearl in natures gem. Our first Brown Resort. A new era of Brown’s hosting experiences. Edgy, contemporary integrated in nature and its surroundings treasures.

Solution
Brown has been known for its Urban collection hotels, very edgy, young, up beat vibes, whereas the resorts were to satisfy a different vibe and different leisure location. The solution was created by the amazing building which was designed as the pebbles and the natural curves of the location, creating abeautiful mathch to the curved logo and the soft colors of the branding, Inviting us inside.
